The following diagrams discuss three different quick hitters that can be run against a Triangle and Two defense.

Quick Hitter 1:

#3 dribbles toward #4 at the elbow. #4 cuts down and replaces #5, as #5 slides up to the elbow opposite of #3. #2 clears out with his defender. #3 passes to #5 for the shot. If the defense comes up on #5, #5 can pass to #4 down low.

Quick Hitter 2:

#1 and #2 are on the wings with their defenders. They both take their men down and screen on the defenders. #4 and #5 pop out to the wing for the shot. #3 cuts through the lane to the ballside corner for the shot, if #4 or #5 are covered.

Quick Hitter 3:

#1 and #2 set up on the wings. #4 sets up in the corner and #5 on the low block. #3 dribbles to the left. #2 screens the opposite low defender. #3 passes to #4 for the shot. If the defender pops out to cover the shot, #4 passes to #5 on the block.
